The Asian Development Bank (ADB) was conceived in the early 1960s as a financial institution that would be Asian in character and foster economic growth and cooperation in one of the poorest regions in the world.
ADB assists its members, and partners, by providing loans, technical assistance, grants, and equity investments to promote social and economic development.
Invitation for Bids
The Government of India has applied for financing from the ADB toward the cost of Maharashtra District Connectivity Improvement Project. Part of this financing will be used for payments under the contracts named above. Bidding is open to Bidders from eligible source countries of ADB.
The Public Works Department, Government of Maharashtra represented by the Additional Chief Secretary, Public Works Department (Authority) through Chief Engineer and Project Director (EAP) (“the Employer) invites online bids from eligible bidders for the Engineering Procurement Construction for Improvement of Roads in Maharashtra (“the Works”).
Open Competitive Bidding – National will be conducted in accordance with ADB’s Single-Stage: Two-Envelope bidding procedure and is open to all Bidders from eligible countries as described in the Bidding Documents.
