Item Description:
The United Nations Support Office in Somalia (UNSOS) seeks Expression of Interest (EOI) from competent and qualified companies for the Provision of Satellite Voice, Data Services and associated Satellite equipment/devices and accessories to UNSOS.
UNSOS intends to contract a vendor for the Satellite voice, data services and associated satellite equipment/ devices and accessories to UNSOS in Kenya and Somalia. UNSOS is currently using Thuraya and Iridium satellite phones for providing voice communication in Somalia and Kenya. Similarly, satellite data services the same equipment (Iridium and Thuraya) terminals are used. At present, there are 76 Iridium Press-To-Talk (PTT) sets and 101 Thuraya Satellite phones in the mission and service.
The successful Contractor will enter into a three-year contract with UNSOS with an option to extend the contract for an additional one year under the same terms and conditions.
Detailed requirements and specifications will be provided in the Tender document to be issued at a later date.
Interested companies are invited to submit their EOI electronically via the link provided on the UNGM not later than 27 February 2020. Expressions of Interest not sent electonically using the UNGM link provided may not be considered for the solicitation.
This EOI does not constitute a solicitation. UNSOS reserves the right to change or cancel the requirements at any time during the EOI and/or solicitation process. Thus, submitting a reply to this EOI does not automatically guarantee that your firm will be considered for receipt of the solicitation when issued.
