Provision of Inspection, Maintenance and Repair Services of Centralized Heating Systems at The United Nations Global Service Centre (UNGSC), Brindisi, Italy

The bi-yearly routine maintenance services shall be carried out in September/October and April/May. During the winter routine maintenance services (September/October) the contractor shall carry out the commissioning procedures.

During the spring routine maintenance services (April/May) the contractor shall carry out the decommissioning procedures.

All services, materials and supplies provided during the execution of this Contract, shall be in full compliance with the pertinent Italian Laws and Regulations and in accordance with the relevant Standards and Codes of Practice of Italy and Europe, UNI or any other internationally accepted set of Codes and Standards, such as but not limited to the following:

• The Italian Legislative Decree No. 81 dated April 9, 2008 (“Testo unico Sulla Sicurezza”) and the UNGSC/international standards with respect to occupational safety and health requirements;
• The Italian Legislative Decree No. 152 dated April 3, 2006 (“Testo unico Sull’Ambiente”) and the UNGSC/international standards with respect to environmental requirements;
• European Code 89/392/CEE;
• UNI 8364-1:2007 – Heating systems – Part 1: Commissioning;
• UNI 8364-1:2007 – Heating systems – Part 2: Operating;
• UNI 8364-1:2007 – Heating systems – Part 3: Maintenance;
• UNI 10389-1:2019 – Heat generators – Part 1: Equipment fueled with liquid and/or gaseous fuel.

The full technical requirements and administrative instructions will be provided with a solicitation document to be issued at a later stage after the closing date for this EOI.
