Provision of Unarmed Security Services to UNMIK in Kosovo

The United Nations Interim Administration in Kosovo (UNMIK) has the requirement for the Provision of Unarmed Security Services at their offices and facilities in Pristina, Mitrovica, Peja and repetitor sites. Unarmed Security Services are predominantly related to the overall physical security of UNMIK premises, which includes perimeter, fences, safety and security of the personnel, UN property, security of the structures, vehicles, equipment’s, access control posts, foot patrols, identification and recording of personnel entering to the compound, safety, fire-fighting, recording of equipment entering and leaving the compound of the existing installations as required.

The total estimated number of posts to be guarded is (11.5). Each post is guarded 24 hours per day, seven days per week.

The contract will be for an initial period of one (1) year, with an option of extension for additional four (1+1+1+1) year periods.

IMPORTANT NOTE: The Contractor shall be in possession of all relevant permits, amongst them but not limited to the “Business Registration Certificate and License” for Provision of Unarmed Security Services to UNMIK in Kosovo.

This Request for Expression of Interest (EOI) does not constitute a solicitation. UNMIK reserves the right to change or cancel the requirements at any time during EOI and/or solicitation process. Submission of a reply to this EOI does not automatically guarantee that such a firm will be considered for receipt of the solicitation when issued. Only Companies, deemed qualified upon completion of an objective evaluation of their submission of EOI, will receive the final tender solicitation document.
