Construction of Wastewater Collection Network

The Asian Development Bank (ADB) was conceived in the early 1960s as a financial institution that would be Asian in character and foster economic growth and cooperation in one of the poorest regions in the world.

ADB assists its members, and partners, by providing loans, technical assistance, grants, and equity investments to promote social and economic development.

The Socialist Republic of Vietnam has received financing from the Asian Development Bank (hereinafter called “ADB”) toward the cost of Greater Mekong Sub-region Corridor Town Development Project. Part of this financing will be used for payments under the Contract named above. Bidding is open to Bidders from eligible source countries of ADB.

The Tay Ninh Province Economic Zone Authority through Tay Ninh Project Management Unit (“the Employer”) invites e-bids from eligible Bidders for the package CW-12: Ben Cau Wastewater Collection Network (“the Works”):

Description of Works: Construction of Ben Cau Wastewater Collection Network in Ben Cau Town, Tay Ninh Province, Vietnam

The Civil Works includes main components:

• Wastewater collection pipelines:
  • Self-flowing pipelines (level 1, 2): HDPE pipe D150 ÷ D400 with a total length of 14,668m and manholes on the route. After detailed surveys, some pipelines going through uninhabited areas may be cut off;
  • Penstocks:HDPE pipes D100÷D200, stainless steel pipes D200(passing bridges) and fittings on pipelines, total length of 1,437m;
  • Level 3 pipeline: D100 uPVC pipe waiting to connect household sand HDPE D150 pipe with a total length of about 11,900m and household junction boxes.
• Waste water pumping station:
  • Pumping station No.1: Q=105m3 / h,H=35m.
  • Pumping station No.2:Q=45m3 / h,H=10m.

Completion Period: 365 days

National Competitive Bidding will be conducted in accordance with ADB’s Single- Stage: One-Envelope bidding procedure and is open to all Bidders from eligible source countries as described in the Bidding Documents.
