Replacement of Elevators for the Offices of the United Nations in Santaiago Chile

The United Nations Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC) and the United Nations system in Chile are seeking companies with Local Representation, duly experienced and with the technical and financial capability to participate in the bidding process for the following services.

Description of Services:

1) Dismantlement of existing elevators:

The dismantlement of the entire existing elevator system is requested (cabins, doors, engine room, rail system, guides and counterweights as appropriate) and their subsequent disposal in an authorized dump.

2) Supply and installation of elevators:

The request is for the supply of all the necessary parts, importation and internment of the complete elevator system, as well as the correct installation according to manufacturer specifications and current regulations.

3) Civil works complementary to the Installation.

This covers the construction and conditioning of the civil works necessary for the installation and operation of the new elevator system.

The process is valid for buildings where United Nations offices are in Chile. However, their allocation and processes may be developed independently by different agencies. Mainly, this process refers to the existing elevators in the ECLAC (2), FAO / UNDP (2) and ILO (2) buildings.
