Provision of Travel Management Services to the UN International Residual Mechanism for International Criminal Tribunals

The UN-International Residual Mechanism for International Tribunals (hereinafter referred to as “IRMCT”, with their Headquarters co-located at Churchillplein 1, 2517 JW, The Hague, The Netherlands intends to award a multi-year contract for the Provision of Travel Management Services.

The contractor, accredited by IATA, shall be able to provide the full range of travel management services for official travels undertaken by IRMCT staff, and other persons acting for the IRMCT in their official capacities. The services of the contractor shall be provided based on an ex-plant arrangement. Under this arrangement, IRMCT staff working from within its premises shall perform travel planning, make reservations, and issue travel documents. Briefly, the contractor’s responsibilities shall include but not be limited to the following:

• To provide all components of a computerized reservation and ticketing system (CRS), which shall include necessary hardware (terminals, itinerary printers), software (preferably Galileo) and user licenses.
• To provide back-up and emergency support to IRMCT travel team 24 hours per day, 7 days a week.
• To review and verify itinerary, fare and special instructions prior to issuance of a ticket order.
• To process claims and requests for refunds.
• To provide travel advisory services, and to negotiate with airlines special rates for IRMCT.
• To provide all other services associated with travel management.

Full details of the scope of required service shall be provided in the tender documents which will be issued shortly after the EOI circulation.
