Item Description:
The Asian Development Bank (ADB) was conceived in the early 1960s as a financial institution that would be Asian in character and foster economic growth and cooperation in one of the poorest regions in the world.
ADB assists its members, and partners, by providing loans, technical assistance, grants, and equity investments to promote social and economic development.
The Government of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka has received a loan from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) towards the cost of the Greater Colombo Water and Wastewater Management Improvement Investment Program (Tranche 2), and intends to apply part of the loan funds to cover eligible payments under the above-mentioned Contract. Bidding is open to Bidders from eligible source countries of ADB.
The Chairman, Cabinet Appointed Procurement Committee (CAPC), on behalf of the Secretary, Ministry of Public Administration, Home Affairs, Provincial Councils & Local Government (hereinafter referred to as the “Employer”) invites sealed bids from eligible and Bidders for the above-mentioned contract.
International Competitive Bidding will be conducted in accordance with ADB’s Single- Stage: One-Envelope bidding procedure. The eligibility and qualification requirement shall be as given in Section 3 of the Bidding Document
