Supplying Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

Item Description:

The World Health Organization (WHO) invites vendors to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) for supplying Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to the WHO which address the following objectives:

Expand WHO’s access to potential suppliers for ad-hoc or long-term agreements:
Support national and global efforts of increasing access to affordable PPE products that are in compliance to required safety and quality specifications
Demonstrate efficient and sizeable production capacity, that can support WHO in future health emergencies
Prove to have a certified quality and risk management system in place
Demonstrate strong willingness to establish long-term partnership with WHO

WHO is interested in identifying manufacturers of at least one of the following product categories:

• Apron (Heavy duty)
• Apron (disposable)
• Gown (isolation)
• Gown (surgical)
• Examination Gloves
• Surgical Gloves
• Respirator
• Mask
• Disposable Face Shield
• Protective Goggles
• Bio Hazard Bags

WHO intends to invite selected vendors to participate in a formal solicitation, via a Request for Proposals (RFP), at a later stage, for the above requirements. Complete details of the requirements will be included in the solicitation documents.
