Construction of Kyenjojo-Katooke Piped Water Supply and Sanitation System

This Invitation for Bids follows the General Procurement Notice (GPN) for this project that appeared in UNDB online on 30th August 2018 and on the African Development Bank Group’s Internet Website.

The Government of Uganda through the Ministry of Water and Environment has received Financing from the African Development Bank towards the cost of Strategic Towns Water Supply and Sanitation Project. It is intended that part of the proceeds of this loan will be applied to eligible payments under the contract for Construction of Kyenjojo- Katooke Piped Water Supply and Sanitation System.

The Ministry of Water and Environment now invites sealed bids from bidders for the Construction of Kyenjojo-Katooke Piped Water Supply and Sanitation System and execution of the works consisting of Intake works, water treatment works, treated pumping mains, storage reservoirs, distribution and intensification piped network, tools and equipment.

Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from and inspect the bidding documents at the office of Procurement and Disposal Unit, Ground Floor, Ministry of Water and Environment, Plot 3-7 Kabalega Crescent, Luzira, Tel: 256-417- 889400, email: pdu@mwe.go.ug.

A complete set of bidding documents may be purchased by interested bidders on submission of a written application to the above address and upon payment of a non- refundable fee of UGX 100,000/= (Uganda Shillings One Hundred Thousand only).

The provisions in the Instructions to Bidders and in the General Conditions of Contract are the provisions of the African Development Bank Standard Bidding Document for Procurement of Works.

Bids must be delivered to the above office on or before 11:00am on 21st September 2020 and must be accompanied by a security of USD 150,000 (United States Dollars One Hundred Fifty Thousand Only).
