Item Description:
The Asian Development Bank (ADB) was conceived in the early 1960s as a financial institution that would be Asian in character and foster economic growth and cooperation in one of the poorest regions in the world.
ADB assists its members, and partners, by providing loans, technical assistance, grants, and equity investments to promote social and economic development.
The Kingdom of Cambodia has received financing from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) towards the cost of Second Urban Environmental Management in the Tonle Sap Basin Project. A portion of this financing will be applied for eligible payments under the Contract named above. The Bidding is open to Bidders from eligible source countries of the ADB.
The Ministry of Public Works and Transport (MPWT) (“the Employer”) hereby invites sealed bids from eligible Bidders for the construction and completion of the following contract package: Construction of Stueng Saen Wastewater and Drainage Sub-project (Lot 1): Battambang Wastewater Sub-project (Lot 2).
The Works include:
- Lot 1: HDPE collector sewers (200 mm diameter or larger), 1,500 house sewer connections per year including onsite plumbing, two (2) sewage pumping stations with duty point around 90 L/s at 25 m head, One (1) lagoon-based sewage treatment plant of 3,000 m3/d capacity (with geo-membrane or clay liner) and 1 km of 500 mm wide concrete open drainage channels.
- Lot 2: HDPE collector sewers (200 mm diameter or larger), 1,500 house sewer connections per year including onsite plumbing, Six (6) sewage pumping stations with duty point around 90 L/s at 25 m head, One (1) lagoon based sewage treatment plant of 8,000 m3/day capacity (with geo-membrane/ clay liner).
International Competitive Bidding will be conducted in accordance with Single-Stage: One-Envelope bidding procedure and is open to all bidders from eligible countries as described in the Bidding Document.
