Item Description:
The Kingdom of Cambodia has received financing from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) towards the cost of Second Urban Environmental Management in the Tonle Sap Basin Project. A portion of this financing will be applied for eligible payments under the contract named above. The bidding is open to Bidders from eligible source countries of the ADB.
The Ministry of Public Works and Transport (MPWT) (“the Employer”) hereby invites sealed bids from eligible Bidders for the construction and completion of the following contract package (“the Works”):
- IFB No.: PMU/MPWT/SUEMTS BP-2/ICB/CW03B
- Contract Title: Construction of Stueng Saen Solid Waste Management
- Location: Kampong Thum Province, Cambodia
- Duration: 15 months
The Works include:
- Upgrading of 2,150 meters of access road to the landfill site to be above flood levels.
- Construction of one controlled landfill cells out of a total of four cells.
- Construction of one hazardous waste landfill cell.
- Construction of a non-mechanical type material recovery facility (MRF).
- Construction of drainage, leachate collection, treatment, and recirculation system.
- Construction of weighbridge and office building; staff dining and rest room; workshop,
- electrical and mechanical room, and supply building.
- Construction of 1,403 meters of concrete internal roads, bunds, and drainage system.
- Construction of wire mesh fencing, and entrance wall, gate and security guardhouse.
- Construction of car/ vehicle washing facility.
- Construction of hazardous waste storage.
- Provision of operations & maintenance (O&M) equipment.
International Competitive Bidding will be conducted in accordance with ADB’s Single- Stage: One-Envelope procedure and is open to all Bidders from eligible source countries as described in the Bidding Document.
