North Tajik Water Rehabilitation Project

Item Description:

This Invitation for Tenders follows the General Procurement Notice for this project which was published in EBRD Procurement Opportunities, 27 May 2016 procurement reference 8300-GPN-40717.

SUE Khojagii Manziliyu Kommunali (“KMK”) hereinafter referred to as the Employer, intends using parts of the proceeds of a loan from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (“the Bank”), parts of the proceeds parts of a grant from the Swiss State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (“SECO”) and parts from a grant from the Special Climate Change Fund (“SCCF”) towards the cost of the North Tajik Water Rehabilitation Project (“NTWRP”).

The Employer now invites sealed tenders from Contractors for the following contract to be funded from part of the proceeds of the loan and the grants:

NTWRP-11: Rehabilitation of Chlorination Units in Chkalovsk, Gafurov, Isfara, Kairakkum, Kanibadam, Khorog and Taboshar City. Provision of related supply of goods, installation and civil works.

The scope of the contract will include the final design, supply and installation works (including trenching, pipe welding etc.) of 8 chlorination units in 7 project cities.

The implementation shall start in Q1 of 2017 and shall be completed within 8 months after signing the Contract including winter break.

Tendering for contracts to be financed with the proceeds of the Bank’s loan, SCCF’s and SECO’s grant is open to firms, joint ventures and consortiums from any country.
