Construction of Dinh Muoi Road, Quang Ninh District

The Asian Development Bank (ADB) was conceived in the early 1960s as a financial institution that would be Asian in character and foster economic growth and cooperation in one of the poorest regions in the world.

ADB assists its members, and partners, by providing loans, technical assistance, grants, and equity investments to promote social and economic development.

The Social Republic of Vietnam has received financing from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) toward the cost of the Basic Infrastructure for Inclusive Growth in the North Central Provinces Sector Project, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this financing to payments under the contract named above. Bidding is open to Bidders from eligible source countries of ADB.

The Quang Binh Provincial Basic Infrastructure for Inclusive Growth PMU (the “Employer”) invites sealed bids from eligible Bidders for the Construction of Dinh Muoi Road, Quang Ninh District (the “Works”) with the following:

• Building a new road in Quang Ninh district, Quang Binh province: The total length of the road is: L = 4.004.71m. The road starts at Km0 + 165.16 and intersects with National Highway 1A at Km676 + 411; and ends at Km4 + 169.88 and intersects with Provincial Road 569. The specific road specifications are as follows:
  • Section from Km0 + 165.17 – Km2 + 246.0: Construction of embankment width: Broadbed = 50.0m; pavement width: Bsurface =2×9.50m = 19.0m; median width strip: BDPC = 11.0m; shoulder width: Broadside= 2×10.0m = 20.0m; the road surface is made of asphalt concrete.
  • Section Km2 + 246.0 – Km4 + 169.88: Construction of embankment width: Broadbed = 9.0m; pavement width: B surface = 7.0m; shoulder width Broadside = 2×0.5m = 1.0m; reinforced concrete curb width = 2×0.5m = 1.0m; the road surface is made of asphalt concrete.
• Building other works: drainage system, traffic safety system and others auxiliary items.

National Competitive Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the ADB’s Single Stage – One Envelope bidding procedure and is open to all eligible Bidders as described in the Bidding Document.
