Item Description:

The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) was created by the United Nations General Assembly on 11 December 1946, to provide emergency food and healthcare to children in countries that had been devastated by World War II. In 1950, UNICEF’s mandate was extended to address the long-term needs of children and women in developing countries everywhere. In 1953 it became a permanent part of the United Nations System, and the words “international” and “emergency” were dropped from the organization’s name, making it simply the United Nations Children’s Fund, retaining the original acronym, “UNICEF”.

Invitation to bid

UNICEF-Bangladesh is inviting interested companies with a strong record and credibility of providing the above required goods with related services to participate on the bid for “Procurement of Electronics and ICT Items”. The deadline to submit proposal is Thursday, 19 November 2020; Time: 11:00 Hrs.

Please note UNICEF does not charge any fee at any stage of solicitation process.

Special Note: This LITB is open for companies registered in Bangladesh. Interested overseas bidders are requested to participate though their authorised local agents registered in Bangladesh and the quoted currency shall be BDT on DAP incoterm basis.
