Framework Contract for Preventive and corrective maintenance of the VELA laboratory

The European Commission, Directorate-General for Joint Research Centre, referred to below as the contracting authority, is planning to award the contract(s) resulting from the above procurement procedure. The procurement documents consist of the contract notice, the invitation letter, the draft contract(s) and tender specifications with their respective annexes. Subject of this call for tenders

The subject of this call for tenders is to provide maintenance services of JRC’s emission test facilities in the VELA laboratory.

The current Framework Contract (FWC) for preventive and corrective maintenance of VELA laboratory will expire early 2021. In order to ensure the proper functioning of the laboratory there is the need to establish a new contract. In addition, due to the need to get the ISO 17025 accreditation for specific tests, it is necessary to include in the contract specific provisions for instrument calibration meeting the requirements of this ISO standard.

This call for tenders is divided into 4 lots:

• Lot 1, Maintenance services for Safety related systems
• Lot 2, Maintenance services for Emission measuring equipment
• Lot 3, Maintenance services for Air conditioning systems of the climatic chambers
• Lot 4, Maintenance services for Vela 9 anechoic chamber

Tenders may be submitted for 1 or more lots. Each lot will be assessed independently of any other lot. Tenders which cover only part of one lot or are declared as being conditional on the award of any other lots are not permitted.
