Item Description:
The International Telecommunication Union (ITU) is a specialized agency of the United Nations (UN) that is responsible for issues that concern information and communication technologies. It is the oldest among all the 15 specialised agencies of UN.
The ITU coordinates the shared global use of the radio spectrum, promotes international cooperation in assigning satellite orbits, works to improve telecommunication infrastructure in the developing world, and assists in the development and coordination of worldwide technical standards.
Expression of Interest
The Procurement Division issues the present Expression of Interest (hereinafter “EOI”) bearing the Ref. No. EOI-2020-007, with the purpose of identifying interested companies/firms that ITU may invite to participate to an upcoming solicitation process which will result in a Contract for the provision of transcription & real-time (both AI and human based) captioning services, in English, for ITU Events.
