Provision of Airport Services in support of the United Nations Organization Stabilization Mission in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (MONUSCO)

The United Nations Procurement Division’s Global Procurement Support Section (GPSS), on behalf of the United Nations Organization Stabilization Mission in the Democratic Republic of Congo (MONUSCO) has a requirement for Airport Services at 8 locations within the DRC namely: Beni, Bukavu, Bunia, Goma, Kalemie, Kananga, Kinshasa, and Uvira.

The proposed contract term shall be for an initial period of two (2) years, with the option, at the sole discretion of the UN, to extend the contract for two (2) additional one-year periods (2+1+1 years).

In this regard, the UN is seeking qualified and reliable vendors capable of providing the following Airport Services:

• Emergency Crash and Rescue Services;
• Aeronautical Weather Observation and Reporting Services;
• Airside oversight management;
• Foreign Object Debris Removal and/or Grass Cutting Services on airside areas. i.e. taxi ways and shoulders, aircraft maneuvering areas and active runways/airstrips Aircraft Wing Walking; and
• Aviation specialized equipment maintenance services.
