The European Commission is an institution of the European Union, responsible for proposing legislation, implementing decisions, upholding the EU treaties and managing the day-to-day business of the EU.

The European Commission, Directorate-General Regional and Urban Policy and the joint audit directorate DAC (acting jointly under REGIO and EMPL) referred to below as the contracting authority, is planning to award the framework contracts resulting from the above procurement procedure. The procurement documents consist of the contract notice, the invitation letter, the draft framework contract and tender specifications with their respective annexes. Objective of the contract

The aim of the framework contract is to provide audit services to the contracting authority for the audit of programmes and projects co-financed under the programming periods 2021-2027, 2014-2020, on the financial follow-up of irregularities for the 2000-2006 and 2007-2014 programming periods and on direct management expenditure by the contracting DGs The framework contract shall include other programmes and projects (e.g. JTF and REACT-EU) financed from the EU-budget and at any time managed by the Directorate Generals participating in the framework contract.
