The United Nations Global Support Centre (UNGSC) intends to issue an Invitation to Bid for the Supply of Electricity to its premises located at the United Nations Support Base (UNSB), Valencia – Spain. Characteristics of the Electrical Power Supply: – Type of Power Supply: Medium Voltage – Nominal Voltage: 20 kV; – Nominal Frequency: 50 Hertz; – Maximum power demand: 1000 kW. Delivery point: – Fict AEROPUERTO-CTRO. COMUNICAC, 1, Bajo, 46930 Quart De Poblet (Valencia) – Spain. Annual estimated power consumption: 6,000,000 kWh. In order to be eligible to participate to the future tender, companies must meet the following requirements: – Registration: The Supplier must meet the requirements established by the Spanish Electricity Industry Act 54/1997 and subsequent Regulationsincluding enrolment in the Administrative Register of Distributors Qualified Marketers and Consumers, Second Section, as Business Marketers for at least three (3) years. – Compliance: The Supplier must be willing to accept the United Nations General Conditions of Contract for Services. – Type of Supply: Minimum of 25% of Renewable and / or Alternative Energy Sources in Power Supply. IMPORTANT: In order to be considered for the award, the company must be registered with United Nations Global Marketplace (UNGM) at LEVEL 2 (www.ungm.org). The contract will be established for two years (one year plus one additional year), i.e. from 1 July 2017 through 30 June 2018 plus an additional year (maximum period ending 30 June 2019). The full technical requirements and details will be provided with a formal solicitation document to be issued at a later stage soon after the closing date for this EOI. Qualified suppliers interested in participating in this solicitation are invited to express their interest via fax or email, using the attached form, citing the full name of the company, complete address, telephone/fax numbers and email address, as well as the name and title of a designated point of contact. The UNGSC/UNLB Procurement considers a firm’s qualifications and experience in the particular commodity/service area, and previous performance, when preparing a list of invitees.
