Supply of Electricity to the UNGSC/UNLB premises located in Brindisi, Italy

Item Description:

The United Nations Global Support Centre / United Nations Logistics Base (UNGSC/UNLB) intends to issue an Invitation to Bid for the Supply of Electricity in Medium Tension (MT) to its premises located in Brindisi – Italy. The Contract shall be established for a period of 2 years. Specifications of the Power Provision are the following: • Type of Power Provision: Medium Tension. • Maximum power demands point 1: 500 kW. • Maximum power demands point 2: 7000 kW. • Maximum power demands point 3 (optional): 507 kW. • Nominal tension: 20 kV. • Nominal frequency: 50 Hz. Scope of Service The three Connection Points are located as follows: • Connection Point 1: Via U. Maddalena, snc – 72100 Brindisi – IT001E89464064 • Connection Point 2: Via Materdomini – 72100 Brindisi – IT001E00221467 • Connection Point 3: Via Minniti, 1 – IT001E00211164 Quantity and General Information of Provision • The approximate consumption of Connection Point 1 (IT001E89464064) is around 1,600,000 kWh per year, with a contractual maximum power of 500kW. • The approximate consumption of Connection Point 2 (IT001E00221467) is around 7,200,000 kWh per year, with a contractual maximum power of 7000kW. • The approximate consumption of Connection Point 3 is around 13,000 kWh per year, with a contractual maximum power of 507kW. • The full technical requirements and details will be provided with a formal solicitation document to be issued at a later stage soon after the closing date for this EOI. • In order for the Expression of Interest to be considered, the company must be registered with United Nations Global Marketplace (UNGM) by visiting the website: http://www.ungm.org. • In order to be awarded a Contract/Purchase Order, the Vendor must be registered with the UN Secretariat through the United Nations Global Marketplace (UNGM) for the required Level of Registration, which is “Level 2”, by the time of finalization of bid evaluation before the award. • Vendors interested in participating in this solicitation are invited to express their interest via email citing the full name of the company, complete address, telephone and fax number as well as the name and title of a designated point of contact. • This notice does not constitute solicitation. The UNLB reserves the right to change or cancel this requirement at any time in the EOI and/or solicitation process. The UNLB Procurement considers a firm’s qualifications and experience in the particular commodity/service area, and previous performance, when preparing a list of invitees. Therefore, in case of EOIs concerning equipment or supplies, for responding vendors who are not manufacturers, full details of the vendor’s status, as a factory-appointed wholesaler or distributor, must be provided if not already on file with UNLB Procurement.
