Item Description:
The United Nations issues this Request for Expression of Interest (EOI) for Waste removal and recycling services for the United Nations Headquarters (UNHQ) and other United Nations premises in New York. The Contractor is to provide compacted and uncompacted garbage, organic waste, recyclables, and snow collection and removal services for the UN Headquarters and other United Nations premises in New York, USA in accordance with New York City, State and Federal Government laws, rules and regulations.
The Contractor shall provide compactors, open top containers, hampers, plastic tilt trucks, containers, hoppers, or any appropriate type of containers for reception of garbage. The garbage reception containers so supplied shall remain the property of the Contractor and any depreciation, maintenance, repair and/or replacement shall be the responsibility of the Contractor.
Waste collection, disposal and recycling services will be provided on a daily, weekly, and/or on-call basis.
Interested firms must have a valid New York City Waste Carting License issued by the NYC Business Integrity Commission (BIC), and has provided complete copies licenses, registrations, authorizations, and certificates relevant to performance of work under the SOW.
Responding to this Request:
Interested firms must complete and submit Vendor Response electronically to the attention of: Atul Kaushal via email atul.kaushal@un.org no later than 16 April 2021.
The UN reserves the right to reject Expressions of Interest documents that are incomplete, or are received after the stated deadline.
UN Procurement Division (UNPD) reserves the right to change or cancel the requirement at any time during the EOI and/or solicitation process. Thus, submitting a reply to this REOI does not automatically guarantee that your company will be considered for receipt of the solicitation when issued. The RFP and any subsequent commitment to contract will be issued in accordance with UN rules and regulations.
