Item Description:
The United Nations intends to engage the services of a qualified vendor for the provision of smart meters, LED lights and related accessories to be used by various UN Field Missions and UN Entities world-wide.
The supply shall include smart meters and sensors for monitoring the usage of energy, water, fuel in UN Field Missions, logic controllers for interfacing the meters on a global monitoring platform, LED lighting fixtures complete with lamps and related accessories.
The main categories for the equipment to be supplied are as follows:
- Energy meters
- Water flow meters
- Fuel flow meters
- Tank level meters
- Programmable logic controllers
- LED lights.
In addition to all necessary accessories, the following additional items are required as part of the supply:
- Current transformers for energy meters
- LoRaWAN modules for water flow meters
- Presence/motion sensors for the LED lights
The selected vendor will also be required to provide spare parts and after-sales support services. The goods will be provided through a multi-year system contract, and be used worldwide in Peacekeeping Operations and Political Missions in the fields but also UN offices and headquarters in various locations.
The detailed scope of requirements will be provided in the Invitation To Bid (ITB), which will be sent out to all vendors responding to this EOI. No further detail can be made available before the issuance of the ITB solicitation.
