Item Description:
The Asian Development Bank (ADB) was conceived in the early 1960s as a financial institution that would be Asian in character and foster economic growth and cooperation in one of the poorest regions in the world.
ADB assists its members, and partners, by providing loans, technical assistance, grants, and equity investments to promote social and economic development.
Invitation for Bids
The Social Republic of Vietnam has received financing from the ADB toward the cost of the Basic Infrastructure Project for Inclusive Growth in the North Central Provinces Sector Project. Part of this financing will be used for payments under the contract package named above. Bidding is open to Bidders from eligible source countries of ADB.
The Quang Binh Provincial Basic Infrastructure for Inclusive Growth PMU (the “Employer”) invites sealed bids from eligible Bidders for the Upgrading and expansion of Gianh river fishing port, Bo Trach district (the “Works”) with the following:
- Building a new berth and upgrading existing berth:
- New berth: 208m length and 12m width with structure of reinforced concrete slab beam frame system and reinforced concrete pile foundation D300 and D500. Building two (2) new bridges (the length of 34m&20m and 7.6m width) to connect the port roads and the berth. Bridge structure is reinforced concrete slab beams placed on a reinforced concrete pile foundation
- Upgrading existing sections of piers.
- New construction of one (1) upstream buoy and one (1) downstream buoy.
- Construction of protection embankment with a total length of 92m
- Internal roads and parking lot: upgrading and expanding of existing road pavement with total length 521m and building new roads with total length 99.5m. Construct a parking lot with area of 1.929m2
- Architectural and auxiliary works:
- Renovate the office house: Renovate the roof, floor, toilet equipment, electricity and water, paint the whole house.
- New construction of main and secondary gates and new construction a wall-shaped structural fences.
- New construction a security house and a 80 ton weighing station (including electronic equipment).
- Technical infrastructure including: Power supply system, Electric lighting; Water supply system for domestic use and production; Surface drainage system; Wastewater treatment station with a capacity of 250m3/day and a post-treatment sewer pipeline.
- Purchase of equipment includes:
- Communication and security equipment to monitor the port operation includes: desktop computer, television, camera, etc.
- Seafood plastic transporting tray with PP plastic standard.
- Specialized waste container made of 240L HDPE plastic, crane truck, conveyor, truck, pickup truck.
- Other equipment: lighting equipment; Wastewater treatment equipment; 80T electronic scale; air conditioner, etc.
National Competitive Bidding (NCB) will be conducted in accordance with the ADB’s Single-Stage: One-Envelope bidding procedure and is open to all eligible Bidders as described in the Bidding Document.
