Rehabilitation of Water Supply System in Shomansur district Phase 1

The Asian Development Bank (ADB) was conceived in the early 1960s as a financial institution that would be Asian in character and foster economic growth and cooperation in one of the poorest regions in the world.

ADB assists its members, and partners, by providing loans, technical assistance, grants, and equity investments to promote social and economic development.

Invitation for Bids

The Republic of Tajikistan has received financing from the ADB toward the cost of Dushanbe Water Supply and Sanitation Project, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this financing to payments under the contract named above. Bidding is open to Bidders from eligible source countries of ADB.

The State Unitary Enterprise (SUE) Dushanbevodokanal (DVK) (“the Employer”) invites sealed bids from eligible Bidders for the construction and completion of the following contract packages (“the Works”):

Lot 1 – CW- 01/1:

• Scope of Works: Reconstruction of the water intake structure KAF-1
• Contract Period: Construction: 548 days Defects Liability Period: 365 days

Lot 2 – CW- 01/2:

• Scope of Works: Construction and rehabilitation of portions of main water pipeline
• Contract Period: Construction: 610 days Defects Liability Period: 365 days

Bidders may bid for one (1) lot, combination, or both lots, as further defined in the Bidding Document. Bidders wishing to offer discounts in case they are awarded more than one (1) contract will be allowed to do so provided those discounts are included in the bid submission.
