Headquarters Security Guard Services

The Inter-American Development Bank (IDB or “the Bank”) was established in 1959 to help accelerate economic and social development in Latin America and the Caribbean. Today, the Bank is a significant catalyst in mobilizing resources for the region. The Bank is owned by its 48 member countries with headquarters in Washington, D.C., and Country Offices in Latin America and the Caribbean, and special offices for Europe and Asia. Purpose of the RFP

The Bank is issuing this Request for Proposal (RFP) to solicit proposals from qualified firms to enter into an agreement with the Offeror providing the overall best value to the Bank to provide Security Guard Services at the Bank’s Headquarters buildings located in Washington, D.C., and Ashburn, VA. Required services are detailed in Annex B – Scope of Work. This RFP is intended to provide Offerors with a sufficient understanding of the requirements to enable Offerors to respond. It provides the basis upon which Offerors’ proposals will be evaluated.
