The European Commission is an institution of the European Union, responsible for proposing legislation, implementing decisions, upholding the EU treaties and managing the day-to-day business of the EU.

The European Commission, Directorate-General for Internal Market, Industry, Entrepreneurship and SMEs, referred to below as the contracting authority, is planning to award the contract(s) resulting from the above procurement procedure. The procurement documents consist of the contract notice, the invitation letter, the draft contract(s) and tender specifications with their respective annexes. Subject of this call for tenders

The services that are the subject of this call for tenders, including any minimum requirements, are described in detail below.

The overall purpose of the present call for tenders is to provide for the necessary support for the activities of the Fire Information Exchange Platform (FIEP). This comprises of planning, preparation, implementation and reporting of FIEP meetings, both physical and online. It also covers support for preparation, coordination and drafting of technical reports and other documents produced in the area of FIEP activities. These “ad-hoc” technical reports and documents are to be based on the input from the FIEP members, other potential experts and the expertise and knowledge of the contractor in the respective areas.

During the execution of the contract the focus of the FIEP activities may evolve according to the developments within the scope of FIEP and based on the interests of FIEP members.
