Item Description:
The Asian Development Bank (ADB) was conceived in the early 1960s as a financial institution that would be Asian in character and foster economic growth and cooperation in one of the poorest regions in the world.
ADB assists its members, and partners, by providing loans, technical assistance, grants, and equity investments to promote social and economic development.
Invitation for Bids
The Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh has received financing from the ADB towards the cost of Second City Region Development Project, and part of the proceeds of this financing will be used for payments under the contract named above. Bidding is open to all Bidders from eligible source countries of the ADB.
The Local Government Engineering Department, District: Dhaka (“the Employer”) invites bids (e-Tenders) from eligible Bidders for the following Works (“the Works”):
- Improvement of road from Dhaka-Aricha (RHD) at 22 Mile to Shimulia GC via Nolam (Ch.0 – 7807m) (Road ID # 326722005) including 3905m link road;
- Construction of 5 Nos. U-Drain (0.625m x 0.600m) on Dhaka-Aricha (RHD) at 22 Mile to Shimulia GC via Nolam road (Road ID # 326722005);
- Construction of 1.20m x 1.20m cross drain at Ch. 5395m on Dhaka- Aricha (RHD) at 22 Mile to Shimulia GC via Nolam road (Road ID # 326722005);
- Construction of 5.00m x 5.00m Box Culvert at Ch. 6435m on Dhaka- Aricha (RHD) at 22 Mile to Shimulia GC via Nolam road (Road ID # 326722005).
National Competitive Bidding will be conducted in accordance with ADB’s Single- Stage: One-Envelope Bidding Procedure through electronic Government Procurement (e-GP) system and is open to all Bidders from eligible source countries of ADB as described in the Bidding Documents.
