Supply of Operational Equipment

The Asian Development Bank (ADB) was conceived in the early 1960s as a financial institution that would be Asian in character and foster economic growth and cooperation in one of the poorest regions in the world.

ADB assists its members, and partners, by providing loans, technical assistance, grants, and equity investments to promote social and economic development.

The Republic of Uzbekistan has received financing from the ADB toward the cost of Sustainable Solid Waste Management Project, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this financing to payments under the contract named above. Bidding is open to bidders from eligible source countries of ADB.

The State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan on Ecology and Environment Protection (“the Purchaser”) invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the supply of the following:

• Lot 1: Excavators (dump sites), 13 units
• Lot 2: Semi-trailer Trucks with flatbed trailers, 13 units

Bidders are allowed to bid for one lot or combination of lots. Bid per item is not allowed and shall be rejected.

Open competitive bidding (international advertisement) will be conducted in accordance with ADB’s Single-Stage: One-Envelope procedure and is open to all bidders from eligible countries as described in the Bidding Document.
