Item Description:

The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) was created by the United Nations General Assembly on 11 December 1946, to provide emergency food and healthcare to children in countries that had been devastated by World War II. In 1950, UNICEF’s mandate was extended to address the long-term needs of children and women in developing countries everywhere. In 1953 it became a permanent part of the United Nations System, and the words “international” and “emergency” were dropped from the organization’s name, making it simply the United Nations Children’s Fund, retaining the original acronym, “UNICEF”.

For its efforts to enhance solidarity between nations and reduce the difference between rich and poor states, UNICEF was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 1965.

UNICEF has now issued a Invitation to Bid in order to select a supplier for the provision of Painting services at UNICEF Malawi offices.

This tender will be run through the UNICEF Malawi procurement email .

It is important that you send 2 separate emails to mlwprocurement@unicef.org for the Technical and Financial/price proposal as follows :

• 1 email with the subject line :  ‘TECHNICAL Proposal for PROVISION OF PAINTING SERVICES AT UNICEF MALAWI OFFICES – LITB-2021-9172195 + The UNICEF standard bid form’ using the Bid form template in the RFP document – which must be signed and enclosing the technical proposal
• Another separate email with the subject line : ‘FINANCIAL Proposal for PROVISION OF PAINTING SERVICES AT UNICEF MALAWI OFFICES – LITB-2021-9172195with the cost information / Financial proposal only

Please only send the 2 separate emails to : mlwprocurement@unicef.org AND the deadline for submission of the documents (i.e. the financial and technical proposal) to the email shared is on 17th December 2021 at 10:00AM Malawi Time
