Design, Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of 132 kV Borang – Lapang and 220 kV Lapang – Naubise (Ratmate) 220 kV Transmission Line and Associated Substations

The Asian Development Bank (ADB) was conceived in the early 1960s as a financial institution that would be Asian in character and foster economic growth and cooperation in one of the poorest regions in the world.

ADB assists its members, and partners, by providing loans, technical assistance, grants, and equity investments to promote social and economic development.

The Government of Nepal has received a financing from the ADB toward the cost of Electricity Grid Modernization Project. Part of this financing will be used for payments under the contracts named above. Bidding is open to Bidders from eligible source countries of ADB.

The Nepal Electricity Authority (“the Employer”) invites sealed bids from eligible Bidders for the Design, Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of 132 kV Borang – Lapang and 220 kV Lapang – Naubise (Ratmate) 220 kV Transmission Line and Associated Substations at Borang and Lapang of Dhading District.

Open Competitive Bidding (International Advertisement) will be conducted in accordance with ADB’s Single-Stage: Two-Envelope bidding procedure and is open to all Bidders from eligible countries as described in the Bidding Document.
