Construction of Trimmu Canal Circle Infrastructure

The Asian Development Bank (ADB) was conceived in the early 1960s as a financial institution that would be Asian in character and foster economic growth and cooperation in one of the poorest regions in the world.

ADB assists its members, and partners, by providing loans, technical assistance, grants, and equity investments to promote social and economic development.

The Islamic Republic of Pakistan has received financing from the ADB toward the cost of Trimmu and Panjnad Barrages Improvement Project (TPBIP). Part of this financing will be used for payments under the contract named above. Bidding is open to all Bidders from eligible source countries of the ADB.

The Punjab Irrigation Department, Government of the Punjab (“the Employer”) represented by the Head/ Project Director, Project Management Office (PMO) for Punjab Barrages, Irrigation Department invites sealed bids from eligible Bidders for the Construction of Trimmu Canal Circle Infrastructure (“the Works”).

The Project is located in southern part of the Punjab Province with construction period of twelve (12) months. The project envisages construction of new buildings and renovation/rehabilitation of existing buildings.

National Competitive Bidding will be conducted in accordance with ADB’s Single- Stage: Two-Envelope procedure and is open to all Bidders from eligible member countries as defined in the Bidding Document.
