Provision of Information and Communication Technology Professional Services

The United Nations is seeking expressions of interest from vendors interested to participate in a solicitation for the provision of integrated ICT professional services in various UN locations.

These services are considered to be ICT Professional Services and will be required on an “as and when requested basis” at the sole discretion of the United Nations. Furthermore, these services will be enacted upon demand, taking into account both the availability of United Nations in-house expertise as well as the complexity of requirements under each of the United Nations ICT categories.

The ICT professional services will be provided in support to the following categories (list non-exhaustive):

• ICT End-User HW/SW Support
• Satellite Infrastructure Support
• Broadcasting Infrastructure Support
• Network Equipment Support
• Microwave Links Systems Support
• Server and Storage Equip. Support
• Cloud Computing Support
• Two-Way-Radio Systems Support
• IOT Systems Support
• LTE Network Support
• ICT Project Support
• ICT Administration/Training Support
• ISR &Electronic Defence Systems Support
• ICT Systems Integration Support
• ICT Innovation Support

To deliver ICT Services across this diverse technical and geographical landscape the UN requires Integrated ICT Services to be provided through contractual support resources that can be rapidly deployed to offices within the UN Secretariat and be repatriated based on requirements. Remote working modalities are also required.

The ICT support services will be provided in various UN locations such as but not limited to:

• UN Headquarters, Offices away from Headquarters and Tribunals;
• UN data centres in Valencia (Spain) and Brindisi (Italy);
• UN Peacekeeping Missions
• UN Special Political Missions
• Regional Economic Commissions
• Future UN locations that fall under the same Category
• Remote working arrangement and offshore locations as determined with the vendor(s);

The detailed scope of requirements will be provided in the Request for Proposal (RFP), which will be sent out to all vendors responding to this EOI. No further detail can be made available prior to the issuance of the RFP solicitation.
