Construction and five years of Operation and Maintenance of Water Supply System in Medininagar (Intake works, Rising main, 17 MLD Water treatment plant, Clear water main, Elevated service reservoirs, Distribution network and House service connections)

The Asian Development Bank (ADB) was conceived in the early 1960s as a financial institution that would be Asian in character and foster economic growth and cooperation in one of the poorest regions in the world.

ADB assists its members, and partners, by providing loans, technical assistance, grants, and equity investments to promote social and economic development.

The Government of India has applied financing from ADB toward the cost of Jharkhand Urban Water Supply Improvement Project. Part of this financing will be used for payments under the contracts named above. Bidding is open to Bidders from eligible source countries of the ADB.

The Jharkhand Urban Infrastructure Development Company (JUIDCO) Ltd., represented by the Project Director, Jharkhand Urban Water Supply and Improvement Project, (the Employer) invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for the Construction and five years of Operation and Maintenance of Water Supply System in Medininagar (Intake works, Rising main, 17 MLD Water treatment plant, Clear water main, Elevated service reservoirs, Distribution network and House service connections). Period of Completion will be 730 days (exclusive of 90 days of trial and run period) thereafter 1,825 days of Operation and Maintenance concurrent with 365 days of Defect Liability Period.

Open Competitive Bidding (National Advertisement) will be conducted in accordance with ADB’s Single-Stage: Two-Envelope bidding procedure and is open to all Bidders from eligible source countries as described in the Bidding Documents.
