Item Description:
The African Development Bank Group (AfDB) or Banque Africaine de Développement (BAD) is a multilateral development finance institution. The AfDB was founded in 1964 and comprises three entities: The African Development Bank, the African Development Fund and the Nigeria Trust Fund. The AfDB’s mission is to fight poverty and improve living conditions on the continent through promoting the investment of public and private capital in projects and programs that are likely to contribute to the economic and social development of the region. The AfDB is a financial provider to African governments and private companies investing in the regional member countries (RMC).
Request for Expressions of Interest (REOI)
The Government of the United Republic of Tanzania through Tanzania Electric Supply Company Limited (TANESCO) has applied for financing from the African Development Bank and intends to apply part of the agreed amount of this loan for payments under the Contract on Consultancy Services for ESMP Auditing under 400kV Nyakanazi – Kigoma Transmission Line Project.
The Consultancy Services aim to support the Client on Consultancy Services for ESMP Auditing under 400kV Nyakanazi – Kigoma Transmission Line Project to comply with Bank’s requirements for the projects being undertaken packaged as Component A, Component B and Component C who will work for Project Implementation Unit (PIU), which has been established to support the implementation of this particular project.
TANESCO now invites eligible Individual Consultants to express their interest in providing the Services. Interested Individual Consultants should provide information demonstrating that they have the required qualifications and relevant experience to perform the Services.
