A complete set of bidding documents may be obtained by interested bidders upon the submission of a written application to the above and payment of a non-refundable fee of two thousand Lesotho Loti (LSL2,000.00) or one hundred and twenty (USD120.00) (no cheques allowed). Bidders wishing to make a bank transfer shall be provided with a bank account upon request from the above-mentioned address.

The provisions in the Instructions to Bidders and in the General Conditions of Contract are the provisions of the African Development Bank Standard Bidding Document: Procurement of Goods or Procurement of Works.

Bids must be delivered to the above office on or before 12:00Hrs on 29th July, 2021 and must be accompanied by a bid security of forty thousand US Dollars (USD40,000.00) or its Lesotho Loti (LSL) equivalent.

Electronic submission and Opening of Bids: A procedure for submission and opening of electronic submission will be communicated to the eligible bidders seven (7) days before closing date of bids.

Virtual Pre-bid Meeting and Site Visit: It is the bidder’s responsibility to visit and examine the site of works and its surroundings and obtain all information that may be necessary for preparing the tender and entering into a contract. The costs of visiting the site and obtaining the necessary information shall be borne by the bidders. There will be a compulsory virtual pre-bid meeting at 09:00 hours on the 01st June 2021, and that will be followed by a compulsory virtual site visit at 11:00 hours on the same day.
