Provision of Waste Disposal Services for IRMCT The Hague, Netherlands

The United Nations International Residual Mechanism for Criminal Tribunals (IRMCT) seeks to identify qualified companies for the disposal of waste materials on an “as-required” basis from its premises in The Hague, Netherlands.

The required services shall be for the collection, transportation, and disposal of various waste materials, following all applicable codes and laws of the governing agencies of the Netherlands.

An indication of the category of the waste materials is as follows and includes both organic and non- recyclable waste:

• General construction waste
• Paint
• Battery (rechargeable and non-rechargeable) Medical waste
• Glass,
• Plastic

The contractor shall provide equipment (trucks, bins, dumpsters, equipment, and the workforce needed to carry out the required services.

The resulting contract will be established for an initial period of one (1) year, with the IRMCT’s sole option to extend the term of the contract for two (2) additional periods of one (1) year each (1+1+1).

Complete technical requirements and administrative instructions will be provided with a solicitation document to be issued at a later stage after the closing date for this EOI.

Please note that responding to the EOI does not guarantee your company will be invited to the forthcoming tender that will be issued. A list of companies to be invited will be established subsequent to the review and analyses of the responses to this EOI exercise. Please submit your response to the EOI by e-mail using the attached form. All responses will be kept strictly confidential.

The IRMCT reserves the right to change or cancel this request for EOI at any time.
