Delivery and Installation of Furniture

Item Description:

The European Border and Coast Guard Agency (hereinafter referred to as “Frontex” or “the Agency) was established in 2005 to assist both EU member states and other countries within the Schengen passport-free area in the management of their external borders and to bring greater consistency and harmonization to EU border control. The Agency facilitates cooperation between border and coast guard authorities by providing the necessary technical support and expertise available where and when it is needed. Frontex promotes, coordinates and develops European border management in line with the EU fundamental rights charter applying the concept of Integrated Border Management. Subject of the contract

The contract objective is provision of high quality, functional, durable, comfortable, ergonomically sound and user-friendly furniture provided by a professional company offering high quality installation, maintenance and after-care services as well as adequate warranty.

Lot 1: Office space areas, meeting rooms and other areas

The subject of this lot is delivery and installation of furniture for office rooms, (open) team space areas, meeting rooms, executive offices and kitchenettes.

Lot 2: Office areas, Meeting Rooms and Other Areas in FRONTEX Liaison Office in Brussels

The subject of this lot is delivery and installation of furniture for office rooms, (open) team space areas, meeting rooms, kitchenettes and rest areas.

Lot 3: Delivery of Various Additional Furniture Pieces – Reopening of Competition

The subject of the contract is provision of different types of furniture that may be required during the contract execution. The number of furniture, their type and dedicated functionalities will depend on the actual needs of the three localisations (FRONTEX, ETIAS and Liaison Office in Brussels). All details in relation to the required products and/or their dedicated placement as well as location (Warsaw or Brussels) will be indicated in each invitation to Reopening of Competition (RoC).

Lot 4: Personal Files Cabinets

The subject of this lot is the delivery and installation of secured cabinets for personal files as specified in the Technical Specifications – the technical cards for lot 4 included in Appendix 4.

Lot 5: Office Chairs

The subject of this lot is provision of high quality office chairs satisfying minimum technical requirements defined in the technical cards for lot 5 included in Appendix 5. The contract covers delivery of office chairs to all three locations (Warsaw – FRONTEX HQ, Warsaw – ETIAS Central Unit seat and Brussels – BLO seat).
