The Asian Development Bank (ADB) was conceived in the early 1960s as a financial institution that would be Asian in character and foster economic growth and cooperation in one of the poorest regions in the world.
ADB assists its members, and partners, by providing loans, technical assistance, grants, and equity investments to promote social and economic development.
Invitation for Bids
The Government of India (“hereinafter called “Borrower”) has applied for financing from the ADB toward the cost of Bengaluru Metro Rail Project. Part of this financing will be used for payments under the contract named above. Bidding is open to Bidders from eligible source countries of ADB.
The Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (“the Employer”) invites bids from eligible Bidders for the construction and completion of following works: Construction & Remodeling of existing Baiyappanahalli Depot for Bangalore Metro Rail Project-Phase-2A.
Open competitive bidding will be conducted in accordance with ADB’s Single-Stage: Two-Envelope bidding procedure and is open to all Bidders from eligible countries as described in the Bidding Document.
