Item Description:
The United Nations (UN), Department of Operational Support is looking for information from potential companies on providing a highly mobile surgical capability (trauma/orthopedic) with remote supervision (tele surgery/ tele-medicine) for a Peacekeeping Mission in Africa region.
The requirements are:
- Infrastructure: semi-rigid/containerized, mobile/not fixed on truck, can be easily airlifted
- Medical Equipment- needed for surgery
- Medical Consumables and Pharmaceuticals supplies for the surgery
All supporting equipment i.e generators, medical gases etc.. shall be included so that the capability is fully operational upon deployment. Medical Consumables and Pharmaceuticals are needed to conduct up to 20 surgical operations under general anesthesia.
The solution providers are expected to provide the number of people who will be involved in the installation and deployment of the capability and the trainings required.
The solution providers are also expected to have the ability to sustain the operation of the capability (provision of equipment specific, spare parts, maintenance, service) for a duration of 5 years after deployment.
The UN would like to know the following information :

- If you have already deployed such/ similar solutions before, details of those products.
- Can your proposed solution be deployed in Africa?
- Rough budgetary pricing for each kind of solution?
- If ordered, lead time to deliver?
