Provision of cleaning, janitorial and grounds maintenance services to the IRMCT Branch in Arusha, Tanzania

SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS / INFORMATION (IF ANY)

Interested companies are invited to submit their EOI by courier, email or hand delivery as indicated below. The EOI must include, as a minimum, the following documentation/information:

1. As a mandatory requirement for IRMCT, before submitting an EOI, interested companies must be fully registered as a supplier on the UN Global Marketplace (UNGM) using the link https://www.ungm.org. Registration is free of charge. As you express interest in the planned solicitation by submitting your EOI, please verify that your Company is registered under its full legal name with the UN Secretariat on the UNGM. We encourage all companies to register at least to Level 1 under the UN Secretariat before participating in the solicitation.
2. Proof that the Company is registered for this requirement in UNGM under UN Standard Products and Services Codes (UNSPSC) 76000000 (Cleaning and Janitorial Services), 76110000 (General Building and Office Cleaning and Maintenance Services), 72102902 (Landscaping Services).
3. The Company’s complete profile must include the physical address, contact person, telephone/fax numbers, email, and website (if applicable).
4. Proof/evidence of at least three (3) years of experience in cleaning , janitorial and grounds maintenance servives. Companies are to provide the below details of similar type/capacity projects: Project Name; Description of the work and technical details; Client address and contact details (phone numbers & email); Contract amount and duration
5. Confirm ability/readiness to work in the Republic of Tanzania. International companies will be required to obtain local business registration or an operating license to provide the services if they do not have local partners or sub-contractors in Tanzania.
6. IRMCT Procurement Section shall reject any EOI that does not contain the final UNGM vendor registration number under the specified UNSPSC and the submissions listed in paragraphs 4 and 5 above. Such expression of interest will be considered non-responsive.
7. This REOI does not constitute a solicitation. IRMCT reserves the right to change or cancel the requirements at any time during the REOI and/or solicitation process. Thus, submitting a response to this REOI does not automatically guarantee that your Company will be considered for receipt of the solicitation when issued.
8. Responding to this Request interested firms must complete the following Vendor Response Form online or, if manually, return it with the requisite documents to the attention of the IRMCT Procurement Unit at irmct-procurement@un.org; with fariala@un.org in copy.
9. Vendor Response Forms must be completed in full. The IRMCT reserves the right to reject Expressions of Interest documents that are incomplete, or are received after the stated deadline.
10. The EOI, clearly marked “Provision of Cleaning, Janitorial and Ground Maintenance Services for the UN-IRMCT Arusha, Tanzania ” must be received by IRMCT no later than the stated deadline of Thursday , 23 October 2022, at 15:00 hours local time in the Republic of Tanzania (GMT or UTC +3), via email to irmct-procurement@un.org; with fariala@un.org in copy.
