Construction and completion of Transit interchange and footbridges

The Socialist Republic of Vietnam has received financing from the Asian Development Bank (hereinafter called “ADB”) toward the cost of the Strengthening Sustainable Urban Transport for Hanoi Metro Line 3 Project, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds towards payments under the contract named above. Bidding is open to Bidders from eligible source countries of ADB.

Hanoi Transport Construction Investment Project Management Unit (the Employer) invites eligible Bidders to submit electronic bids (e-bids) for the construction and completion of the CW-01: Station 8: Transit interchange and footbridges (the Works).

The scope of works of contract package CW-01 consists of improvement and accessibility at Station 8 area (Cau Giay interchange station and 02 footbridges), comprising:

• Route: Improving damaged road surface around Station 8 area from Cau Giay to Voi Phuc intersection including the followng main works: digging and repairing damaged surface and foundation; paving asphalt concrete for leveling and strengthening.
• Traffic management: Supplementing several traffic signs and painting road markings; Constructing additional gantries, light poles, and signal lights for pedestrians; relocating trees.
• Sidewalk: Paving the entire sidewalk with veinstone-cement concrete bricks; Replacing curbs and drainage plates with precast concrete units…; Providing tree concrete edging; Renovating and raising drainage pits and technical pits following road surface elevation.
• Building 02 footbridges at both sides of Cau Giay bridge for pedestrians; Relocating the system of water supply pipeline; Relocating electrical systems; Relocating the system of telecommunication, lighting, and surveillance cameras.

National Open Competitive Bidding (NCB) will be conducted in accordance with Single- Stage: One-Envelope bidding procedure without prequalification and is open to all Bidders from eligible countries as described in the bidding document.
