Item Description:

The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) was created by the United Nations General Assembly on 11 December 1946, to provide emergency food and healthcare to children in countries that had been devastated by World War II. In 1950, UNICEF’s mandate was extended to address the long-term needs of children and women in developing countries everywhere. In 1953 it became a permanent part of the United Nations System, and the words “international” and “emergency” were dropped from the organization’s name, making it simply the United Nations Children’s Fund, retaining the original acronym, “UNICEF”.

For its efforts to enhance solidarity between nations and reduce the difference between rich and poor states, UNICEF was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 1965.

Invitation to bid (ITB)

UNICEF Lebanon would like to invite you for a new bid # LIBS-2022-9179986 for the provision of Oracle Services as per attached tender document and Annex 1- TOR.

This tender is targeted for local suppliers only.

Offers should be sent to the following secured email ONLY: “lebtender@unicef.org”. Subject line of the email should indicate: ITB number (LIBS-2022-9179986) and the name of your company.

IMPORTANT – ESSENTIAL INFORMATION

Offers must be received by latest 12:00 pm (Beirut time) on Friday 16.12.2022 and will be opened the same day at 12:30pm (Beirut time). Offers received after the specified date and time or sent to another email address will be invalidated.

All requests for clarifications or queries on this ITB must be submitted in writing to the following email addresses: (bantoun@unicef.org ; sselwan@unicef.org) by Tuesday 06.12.2022, the latest. please make sure that the email mentions the ITB reference number (LIBS-2022-9179986).

Kindly mention the delivery time for all items and note that this is an important criteria for awarding the contract.
