Item Description:
The United Nations intends to engage the services of a qualified vendor for the provision of various types of furniture and furniture related services located at United Nations Headquarters in New York.
The scope will include the following requirements:
Design, manufacture, supply and install furniture, in line with the technical requirements;
The provision of furniture will be grouped in four (4) categories:
- Executive Furniture
- Systems Furniture
- Loose Furniture
- Task Chairs
These goods and services will be ordered by the United Nations on an ad-hc basis and may include:
- Supply and installation of furniture
- Repair of the furniture
- inventory management
- Furniture liquidation
- Off-site storage
The goods and services will be provided through a multi-year system contract. It is anticipated that the requirements for goods and services within a proposal may not be met by a single company. The subject requirement include four (4) biddable categories to be chosen from or combined under a single vendor.
The detailed scope of requirements will be provided in the Request for Proposal (RFP), which will be sent out to all vendors responding to this EOI. No further detail can be made available prior to the issuance of the RFP solicitation.
