Item Description:
The Asian Development Bank (ADB) was conceived in the early 1960s as a financial institution that would be Asian in character and foster economic growth and cooperation in one of the poorest regions in the world.
ADB assists its members, and partners, by providing loans, technical assistance, grants, and equity investments to promote social and economic development.
Invitation for Bids
The Government of Nepal has received a financing from the ADB towards the cost of Kathmandu Valley Wastewater Management Project. Part of this financing will be used for payments under the Contract named above. Bidding is open only to bidders from eligible source countries of the ADB.
The Project Implementation Directorate, Kathmandu Upatyaka Khanepani Limited (“the Employer”) invites sealed bids from eligible bidders, based on post-qualification criteria, for the design review, execution, completion and operation of wastewater treatment plants at Sallaghari, Kodku and Dhobighat.
International Competitive Bidding (ICB) will be conducted in accordance with ADB’s Single Stage: Two-Envelope envelope bidding procedure and is open to all Bidders from eligible countries as described in the Bidding Document.
