Procurement of Workshop/Training Equipment for Centers of Excellence and Training Equipment for Partner Institutions

The Asian Development Bank (ADB) was conceived in the early 1960s as a financial institution that would be Asian in character and foster economic growth and cooperation in one of the poorest regions in the world.

ADB assists its members, and partners, by providing loans, technical assistance, grants, and equity investments to promote social and economic development.

The Kyrgyz Republic has received financing from the ADB towards the cost of Skills for Inclusive Growth Sector Development Program. Part of this financing will be used for payments under the contract named above. Bidding is open to bidders from eligible source countries of the ADB.

The Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic (“the Purchaser”) invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for Procurement of Workshop/Training Equipment for 8 Centers of Excellence, Training Equipment for 10 Partner Institutions. The bidding covers three (3) lots:

• Lot 1. Workshop and training equipment power/electric and veterinary.
• Lot 2. Workshop and training equipment production and processing technologies.
• Lot 3. Workshop and training equipment sewing, transport and auto.

The Bidders can bid for any single lot, or a combination of lots, and consequently the Purchaser will evaluate and compare bids on the basis of a lot, or a combination of lots, or as a total of lots to arrive at the least cost combination for the Purchaser by taking into account discounts offered by Bidders in case of award of multiple contracts.
