Item Description:

The Asian Development Bank (ADB) was conceived in the early 1960s as a financial institution that would be Asian in character and foster economic growth and cooperation in one of the poorest regions in the world.

ADB assists its members, and partners, by providing loans, technical assistance, grants, and equity investments to promote social and economic development.

The People’s Republic of Bangladesh has received financing from the ADB toward the cost of Bangladesh Power System Enhancement and Efficiency Improvement Project-Additional Financing. Part of this financing will be used for payments under the contract named above. Bidding is open to Bidders from eligible source countries of ADB.

The Bangladesh Rural Electrification Board (the “Employer”) invites sealed bids from eligible Bidders for the construction and completion of “Design, Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning etc. all complete as required of 5 (five) nos. 33/11 kV GIS Substation including civil works with land development and other related works (Turnkey)” (“the Facilities”).
