Provision of Operation and Management of the Catering Facilities at the United Nations ESCWA, Beirut, Lebanon

Item Description:

1. The United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (UNESCWA) is looking for a qualified and experienced firm for the provision of Operation and Management of the Catering Facilities at its headquarters in Beirut, Lebanon. The services shall include, but not limited to: 1.1 Management and operation of a self-service cafeteria facilities at UNESCWA premises including provision of adequate experienced staff during the working days and week-ends/holidays, as may be required; 1.2 Preparing a variety of menus (national and international cuisine), on daily basis, including but not limited to hot meals, salads, a variety of sandwiches etc. in a manner to meet the highest international standards of hygiene and quality; 1.3 Provision of catering services for official United Nations conferences, meetings, dignitaries and other relevant events. 2. The solicitation will be based on a detailed Scope of Work, UN General Conditions of contracts and other related documents which will be provided by UNESCWA to all companies who express their interest and respond to this EOI and qualify for the tender. 3. Please note on the following: a) This EOI does not constitute a solicitation. The United Nations reserve the right to change or cancel these requirements at any time in the EOI and/or solicitation process. b) UNESCWA reserves the right in selecting the invitees for the competitive bidding based on substantial and proven records of performance in the subject field of activities and mere expressing an interest would not automatically warrant for tender document. c) Vendor Response Forms must be completed in full. The UN reserves the right to reject Expressions of Interest documents that are incomplete, or are received after the stated deadline.
