Civil-engineering works for the design and construction of new Building 937 situated on CERN’s Prevessin site in France

Item Description:

CERN intends to place a contract for the design and construction of new Building 937 situated on CERN’s Prevessin site in France. The building will comprise of two floors with a footprint of approximately 600 square metres. The building structure will consist of concrete and steel and the façade will be composed of standard windows and cladding. The building to be constructed will host offices and laboratories for the design, prototyping, construction, operation and maintenance of mechatronic systems belonging to CERN’s Engineering Department. The works are scheduled to begin in Q3 2019 for a duration of one year.

Interested firms shall have a proven experience and competence in design and build contracts of a similar nature including technical studies, road works and networks, structural trades, interior finishes and electrical and mechanical installations.
