Design, Construction and Operation-Maintenance of Raw Water Intake Well, Water Treatment Plant, Raw and Clear Water Transmission Main for Mejhia and Gangajalghati blocks in Bankura

India has applied for financing from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) toward the cost of West Bengal Drinking Water Sector Improvement Project (WBDWSIP). Part of this financing will be used for payments under the contract named above. Bidding is open to Bidders from eligible source countries of ADB.

The West Bengal Public Health Engineering Department (PHED) (“The Employer”) represented by the Project Director, West Bengal Drinking Water Sector Improvement Project. (WBDWSIP), and on his behalf Superintending Engineer, PIU, Bankura, WBDWSIP, PHE Dte., invites eligible Bidders to submit online bids in the e-T endering platform of the State Government of West Bengal (URL: http://wbtenders.gov.in) for the Design, Construction and Operation-Maintenance of Raw Water Intake Well, Water Treatment Plant, Raw and Clear Water Transmission Main for Mejhia and Gangajalghati blocks in Bankura. The principal quantities involved are, but not limited to, one (1) raw water intake well cum pumping station including raw water transmission main, On-shore electric substation, one (1) water treatment plant including clear water reservoir cum pumping station, clear water transmission main to proposed and existing overhead reservoirs, electrical substation, SCADA and associated electro-mechanical works and operation and maintenance for a period of two (2) years.

National Competitive Bidding will be conducted in accordance with ADB’s Single- Stage: Two-Envelope bidding procedure and is open to all bidders from eligible countries as described in the Bidding Document.
